About the Role

Freedom Recovery Centre is a registered Drug rehabilitation centre in Sedibeng Region, Gauteng, seeking unemployed Addiction Counselors to join our team. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for helping people overcome addiction and are committed to providing exceptional support. Preference will be given to applicants residing in Heidelberg / Lesedi / Sedibeng areas. Applicants with personal experience of overcoming substance use for three years or longer will be considered a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit reports as required
• Work as part of a team to provide comprehensive support services
• Conduct group work and classes
• Perform night duties as needed

Requirements

• Understanding of Substance Abuse rehabilitation
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to submit reports on time
• Experience in working with substance users (3 years or longer clean from substances) is preferred
• Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts

Qualifications

• Completed relevant degree or diploma in Addiction Counselling or a related field
