Job Description
About the Role
Our client is urgently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Debtors Clerk to join their finance team in Heidelberg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have strong debtors’ administration experience and be comfortable working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the debtors’ book
- Process customer invoices, statements, and credit notes
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Prepare age analysis reports
- Assist with general finance and administrative duties
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and time management abilities
Computer literacy (MS Office essential)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Previous experience as a Debtors Clerk
Experience with Pastel (highly desirable)
