Heidelberg: Fleet Controller – Junior (Night Shift)

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Fleet Controller to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our fleet management team, you will be responsible for tracking various trucks during the night shift, receiving and executing instructions from senior controllers, and assisting with various aspects of fleet management.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracking various trucks during the night shift
• Receiving trucks in the depot for offloading of chrome
• Executing instructions from the Planner and Senior Controller
• Assisting with productivity, wages, fuel consumption, route planning, etc.
• Assigning and ensuring execution of tasks to drivers
• Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency
• Finding ways to improve productivity

Requirements

• Matric
• Computer literate
• Excel (compulsory)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in fleet management (controller)
• Own Transport
• Sober habits
• Ability to work night shifts
• Willingness to work long hours, public holidays, and weekends
