About the Role
A Game Lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo is seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Lodge Manager to support the overall daily operations of the lodge. The ideal candidate will be guest-focused, operationally strong, and capable of assisting across departments to ensure a seamless and high-quality lodge experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily lodge operations and overall management
- Ensure exceptional guest experience and service standards
- Support and supervise staff across departments
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management
- Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with stock control, reporting, and administration
- Act as Duty Manager when required
Requirements
* RSA ID and legal residence essential
* Proven experience in a lodge or hospitality management role
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent guest service and communication skills
* Ability to work across multiple departments (FOH, housekeeping, F&B)
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced lodge environment
* Valid Driver’s License essential
