Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking highly experienced Head Instructors on behalf of a reputable field guide training facility based in Hoedspruit, with multiple site placements available across Karongwe, Timbavati, Pridelands, Makuleke, and other locations as required. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a seasoned field guide looking to take the next step in their professional journey.
Minimum Requirements:
FGASA NQF 4
FGASA Professional Field Guide and Professional Trails Guide
VPDA Qualification
Advanced Rifle Handling (or close to achieving)
5 to 10 years of industry experience
Current FGASA Membership
Valid NDT Registration
Valid PDP
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the general management and day-to-day operations of training camps
Plan and manage infrastructure, vehicle, and equipment maintenance
Maintain full responsibility for the safety, maintenance, and compliance of firearms and ammunition
Liaise with Reserve Management regarding operational and concession-related matters
Provide leadership and mentorship to Camp Coordinators, cooks, cleaners, and volunteer/work-placement students
Deliver inspirational and immersive learning experiences to course participants
Plan and facilitate daily schedules, educational bush walks, lectures, and practical assessments
Ensure all academic and administrative requirements are met in line with curriculum standards
Offered Package:
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Accommodation: Single tented accommodation
Bonus incentive based on personal and company performance
Placement at fixed or roaming locations based on experience and preference
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
Initial 3-month probation period
Interview Process:
First round: Telephone or Skype interview with General Manager
Second round: On-site interview in Hoedspruit with Managing Director
