About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales professional to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving new business development and expanding existing customer relationships. This is a unique opportunity to work with premium, internationally respected brands and leverage your skills in technical B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and win new business
  • Manage sales pipeline using CRM system
  • Drive opportunities from first contact through to close
  • Target new customers based on Ideal Customer Profile while growing sales within existing customer base
  • Manage a consultative sales process by engaging customers early in their planning, new builds, refurbishments, or hygiene improvement projects
  • Work closely with internal team, including presales, sales, and management, to develop proposals, align strategy, and successfully convert opportunities into long-term business

Requirements

  • Relevant completed degree/qualification
  • Proven experience in technical B2B sales or consultative solution selling
  • Strong technical sales skills and a clear understanding of the full sales process
  • Experience in selling technical solutions, preferably in same or a similar industry (e.g. food processing, beverage manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered systems)
  • Comfortable operating at plant, engineering, and executive level
  • Own vehicle and valid drivers license
  • Willing and able to travel nationally (1 week per month)
