About the Role
Join our luxury lodge team as a Pastry Chef and contribute to delivering exceptional culinary experiences for international guests. As part of a forward-thinking, professional team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts and baked goods in a structured fine-dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present refined, consistent, and high-quality plated desserts
- Develop and implement new dessert menus and recipes as required
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance
- Work effectively in a remote, lodge-based environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in Pastry Chef role within a luxury lodge or fine-dining environment
- Strong pastry, bakery, and dessert preparation skills
- Culinary qualification or accredited professional training required
- 58 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

- Package salary: R9 000 per month (depending on experience)
