About the Role
The Lodge Manager at our large luxury safari lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, is a critical role that ensures every department runs smoothly and delivers exceptional service to our guests. We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional who can lead our operation with operational oversight and regulatory standards in mind.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, lead, and develop all lodge staff
- Manage lodge stock, costing, weekly reporting, and POS accuracy
- Plan menus, monitor food quality, and assist with kitchen duties as needed
- Host guests, handle guest liaison, and drive exceptional guest satisfaction
- Oversee housekeeping standards, maintenance coordination, and lodge presentation
- Manage sales of optional activities, curio shop items, bar sales, and stock levels
- Ensure safety, emergency preparedness, and adherence to lodge branding standards
- Support lodge profitability through informed cost control and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 5 years hospitality management experience in a similar type property
- Food & Beverage management experience
- Housekeeping and maintenance management knowledge
- Strong administrative and financial skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- FGASA registration and PDP licence advantageous

Salary & Benefits
- R20 000 – R25 000 CTC per annum
- Live-in accommodation (Unfortunately, no pets and dependents)
- 3/1 work cycle
