<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales in the fencing by identifying potential customers, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering exceptional customer service.</p><p>The consultant will represent the company's high-security, transparent fencing products to clients across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, residential, and government.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Sales Generation:</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively seek and generate sales leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.</li><li>Present and demonstrate fencing products to prospective clients.</li><li>Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Client Relationship Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and clients.</li><li>Understand customer needs and tailor fencing solutions to meet those needs.</li><li>Provide ongoing support and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Product Expertise:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain an in-depth understanding of products, their benefits, and competitive advantages.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.</li><li>Educate customers on the features and advantages of fencing systems.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Quotations & Proposals:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.</li><li>Negotiate terms and conditions of sales with customers.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline development, and sales forecasts.</li><li>Update CRM software with accurate customer and sales information.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Market Research:</strong></p><ul><li>Identify new markets and opportunities for fencing products.</li><li>Analyze market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Sales experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the fencing, security, or construction industry.</li><li>Technical knowledge: A basic understanding of fencing products, security solutions, and customer needs.</li><li>Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients.</li><li>Negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and close sales.</li><li>Presentation skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.</li><li>Customer service: Excellent customer service skills to maintain and enhance client relationships.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Matric coupled with a business / sales diploma (advantageous)</li><li>Fluent in English & Afrikaans</li><li>Fully computer literate</li><li>Own reliable vehicle / valid driver's license</li><li>Ability to travel long distances (physically fit)</li><li>Proven track record in sales, especially in high-value products or solutions.
