Job Description

My client in the instrumentation industry is looking for a meticulous, accurate, and diligent individual to support their workshop with software system maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and administrative related tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills and has a sound understanding of the PC. We are ideally looking for an individual with working experience in the engineering and/or manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities shall include, however not to be treated as an exhaustive list: Maintain and troubleshoot workshop software systems. Provide administrative and secretarial support to the workshop team. Record keeping and documentation management. Assist with general housekeeping and other organisational administrative related tasks. Support workshop operations with accurate data entry and reporting. Skills/Qualifications/Educational requirements – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. – Strong analytical skills. – Very strong attention to detail. – Strong Microsoft Office skills. – Matric qualification is a mandatory requirement. – High numerical aptitude. – Must have very sound working knowledge on the PC and familiarity with software systems. – /- 3 years working experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
