About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading provider of software solutions specializing in integration services and digital transformation, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled App Maker (Power Platform Developer) to join their dynamic team. As an App Maker, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust business applications and automated workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Implement complex business logic using Power Fx formula writing.
- Create and manage Custom Connectors (leveraging Swagger and Postman) to integrate Power Platform solutions with diverse internal and external systems.
- Develop and optimize automated workflows using Power Automate, including the use of HTTP connectors for advanced integrations and efficient handling of data with loops and JSON parsing.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Graph API to extend functionality and leverage Microsoft 365 data.
- Ensure applications are built with responsive app design and UX principles for optimal performance across various devices.
- Utilize Component Libraries to promote reusability and maintain consistency across applications.
- Connect Power Platform solutions to various data sources, including SharePoint, Excel, and SQL Server.
- Write and implement JavaScript for custom components or Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls when advanced customization is required.
- Consume REST APIs for seamless integration with backend services.
- Contribute to the design and development of backend API integrations, potentially utilizing Python or C# where necessary to support comprehensive solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure solutions align with overall integration strategies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Power Platform solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of developed applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) and Power Automate.
- Proficiency in Power Fx formula writing.
- Experience with Custom Connectors (Swagger, Postman).
- Demonstrated ability to integrate with Microsoft Graph API and consume REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and user experience best practices.
- Experience with Component Libraries.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Excel, and SQL Server connectors.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for Power Platform extensions.
- Experience with JSON for data manipulation and parsing.
- Exposure to Python or C# for backend API development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
