Job Description

Responsibilities: Drive and continuously improve the lead warming process to create quality opportunities for quotes and sales, ensuring all activities are executed with skill, diligence and integrity Oversee the effective allocation and optimisation of all leads across the team, using data insights to maximise contact rates, improve conversion performance and ensure the right agents are aligned to the right leads Identify development needs through performance analysis and call listening. Deliver targeted coaching to build a pipeline of high-performing sales agents through ongoing support in objection handling, sales techniques and call quality Ensure high standards of call quality, script adherence and accuracy while maintaining a strong customer experience Maintain team discipline by effectively managing productivity drivers such as talk time, login/logout adherence and breaks to ensure optimal operational efficiency Take ownership of both individual and team development by facilitating training, sharing best practices and contributing to the upskilling of the broader team where required Proactively share ideas, insights, and best practices to improve lead warming effectiveness, conversion outcomes and overall team performance Design and run targeted incentives to drive the right behaviours, improve engagement and enhance team performance Build a high-performance culture by fostering teamwork, collaboration, accountability and a strong sense of team spirit Engage effectively with Sales team leaders and other stakeholders to source insights, resolve challenges and identify opportunities to improve lead quality and overall performance Ensure full adherence to call centre HOUSE RULES, company policies and all relevant operational and compliance standards Effectively engage with the sales support team to source support and information to identify areas for improved performance Non-technical Skills: Solid Administration Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Presentation skills Persuading and influencing Confidence in engaging stakeholders Time management and organisational skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently High levels of drive, motivation and strong work ethic Resilience and ability to perform under pressure (stress tolerance) Adaptability to change Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a high level of accuracy and a data-driven approach to decision-making Conflict resolution skills Ability to build relationships and foster teamwork Customer-centric mindset Strong administrative and organisational capability, with a compliance-driven approach and a focus on quality and consistency Minimum Qualification: Minimum NQF 4: Grade 12 OR a Tertiary Qualification which will be a significant advantage Regulatory Examination Certificate 5 (RE5)- Essential A Full Qualification in Short-Term Insurance- Essential Compliance with FAIS Fit & Proper criteria i.e., minimum experience and competency requirements Requirements: Three years in a Call Centre Sales Agent environment with proven record of sales success Two years of proven outbound sales management experience in a call centre environment, with a strong track record of driving sales success Proven background in short-term insurance services and products Knowledge and comprehension of high-performance based work compliance Ability to review and comprehend large quantities of incoming data where attention to detail is critical Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
