Assume responsibility in running the branch efficiently and profitably
Manage daily operational performance
Deliver on client commitments
Achieve monthly budgets and profits and control costs within the Branch
Management of staff and fleet
Meet deadlines and schedules
Branch Administration
Retain and grow new and existing client base
Effectively manage resources and risks
Prompt response to all client enquiries
Resolve day-to-day client queries
Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Achieve Branch Targets
Maintain good working relationships with clients and staff
Performance and Disciplinary management of staff
Must be a Team Player
Job Requirements:
Matric certification (essential)
Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent diploma/postgraduate diploma in Logistics (desirable)
At least 5 years of experience in Logistics and Road Transport
Minimum 5 years of business or operational management experience
Strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements
Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff
Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Professional and trustworthy in all aspects
Good negotiation skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Own transport
