About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Broker Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the local market and building strong relationships with brokers to drive premium growth and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sign on and onboard new Brokers to expand the company’s presence in Johannesburg and surrounding areas
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Brokers to drive premium growth and long-term partnerships
- Manage Broker portfolios and ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide accurate, competitive quotes using the company’s advanced quoting tools
- Identify and secure new Brokers and business opportunities through proactive cold calling and lead follow-ups
- Conduct policy risk analysis and provide expert advice
- Monitor Broker and Policy Loss Ratios to ensure sustainable, profitable growth
Requirements
- BCom or Marketing Degree
- 5 years experience as a Broker Consultant (or similar role) in Short-Term Insurance
- RE5 Certification and Relevant Credits
- Valid Drivers License & Own Reliable Vehicle (this role requires travel)
