About the Role
The Commercial Visual Merchandiser plays a key role in delivering a world-class in-store experience across pre-owned iStore’s within South Africa. This role is responsible for driving sell-through, reducing aged stock, and ensuring credible, brand-aligned presentation of Pre-Owned products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain national pre-owned visual merchandising principles that are commercially effective and brand-aligned.
- Design and execute compelling in-store displays aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns with clarity, credibility, and zero brand risk.
- Optimise product placement using VM-led commercial interventions (sales, margin, and stock-turn data).
- Influence pricing visibility and promotional messaging to improve conversion.
- Lead in-store execution of campaigns while maintaining strong commercial KPIs.
Requirements
- 23 years’ experience in visual merchandising , retail execution, or store support (preferred)
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles
- High attention to detail and strong visual execution standards
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable with reporting, photography standards, and admin tasks (Microsoft Excel knowledge a must)
