About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Group Finance Manager to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for overseeing corporate group functions, including consolidation and reporting, financial analysis and planning, annual statutory audit, and compliance and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly consolidation, review, analysis, and reporting, as well as comprehensive commentary on Group financial information.
- Manage cash-flow management: debtors, creditors, forecasts, and payments approval.
- Oversee the annual budget process for the Group and relevant consolidation, review, analysis, reporting, and comprehensive commentary.
- Lead quarterly forecast process for the Group and relevant consolidation, review, analysis, reporting, and comprehensive commentary.
- Conduct monthly corporate overheads’ review and analysis.
- Review statutory compliance: VAT, PAYE, Customs, and Income Tax.
Requirements
- CA(SA) registration
- At least 5 years’ experience in an FM position
- Minimum 3 years of group/consolidations experience
- Experience working with large companies with an annual revenue turnover of R 2 billion
- Infrastructure project company-related experience
Qualifications
- CA(SA) registration (registration required)
- Experience as a Corporate Group Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidations
