Salary: Up to R32,000 CTC (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

An established organization in Johannesburg North is seeking a Credit Facilitator to join their team. This is not a standard collections role; it requires a leader who can effectively manage credit functions while maintaining exceptional relationship management and conflict resolution skills. We are looking for a patient, people-oriented professional who can lead a team through complex financial negotiations with empathy and tact.
Key Responsibilities
Credit & Collections Management

Effectively perform full-function credit facilitation and collections.

Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and initiate appropriate collection actions.

Manage complex debt negotiations while maintaining positive client relationships.

Ensure all collection activities adhere to industry regulations and internal policies.
Team Leadership & Mentorship

Provide direct leadership and guidance to a team of credit staff.

Foster a collaborative environment focused on performance and professional growth.

Handle escalated conflicts and provide resolutions that balance business needs with client retention.
Relationship Management

Act as a key liaison between the organization and various stakeholders.

Utilize high EQ to navigate difficult conversations and resolve disputes.

Promote a culture of excellent service and effective communication across the credit department.
Minimum Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in Credit Collections.

2+ years of experience in a Team Lead or supervisory capacity.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Credit Management, or a related field.
Language & Communication:
-
Fluency in English is essential.
-
Fluency in multiple African languages is required to effectively support a diverse client base.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
