About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Bookkeeper with a passion for accuracy and a willingness to learn, to assist with financial recordkeeping and daily accounting tasks in our Port Elizabeth office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial recordkeeping and daily accounting tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform processing up to trial balance
- Utilize Xero, Sage, and SARS E-Filing platforms as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years accounting experience required
- Proven ability to perform processing up to trial balance
- Formal qualification is advantageous
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, and SARS E-Filing platforms is essential
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Clear written and verbal communication skills

Formal education/certifications are not required for this role. However, if you have any relevant qualifications, please highlight them in your CV.
