Job Description
A leading client in the financial services industry is looking for a Development Manager & Senior .NET Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, including overseeing development strategy, building C# APIs and applications, managing SQL Server environments, and supporting production systems while ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals.

Leadership: Lead and manage the development team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the development team and recommend improvements where necessary.

SQL Server Management: Assist in managing and maintaining SQL Server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of software development experience, with strong expertise in .NET / C# development.

3+ years of leadership or team management experience in a development environment.

Proven experience designing and developing APIs, web applications, and scalable systems using .NET technologies.

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, performance optimization, and maintenance.

Experience with software architecture, system design, and development best practices.
