Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor all dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries. Allocate and schedule deliveries based on priority and route optimization. Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations. Track vehicle movements and provide real-time updates on delivery progress. Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders, delays, and any incidents. Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety standards. Address and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly. Generate reports on dispatch performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven experience in dispatch coordination, logistics, or transport operations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and internal teams. Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Knowledge of fleet management and route planning is advantageous. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. A good working knowledge on SAP
