About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and excellent technical drawing skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship and adhering to strict health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Mark out insulation material for switchgear in accordance with drawings and/or schedules under the instruction of a Rate A to C employee
- Perform repetition wiring where the routing of wires is predetermined by cleats, lines, saddles, wiring channels, fixtures, or pictorial drawings
- Conduct repetition preparation of wiring harnesses on peg boards or fixtures, determining wire routes based on samples and/or pictorial drawings under Rate A or AA supervision
- Adhere to all departmental quality procedures and performing the required quality checks
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) Electrical-related qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
