Job Summary
Education: Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Certifications Certified Enterprise Architect Professional (CEAP) TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certification Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert TM Forum knowledge and/or certifications Optional – Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Experience: Proven experience (8 years) in telecommunications architecture, a minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development. Experience working in a Telecoms, Retail, Video, Content, Gaming industry is advantageous. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Application Certifications) are a plus. Skills: Knowledge of various database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB and Oracle Knowledge of various frontend web development languages like Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Knowledge of various backend development languages like Java, Go and Python Knowledge of APIs, microservices. How to design and build microservices as scale. Knowledge in modern container managements systems like Tanzu, OpenShift, Kubernetes & Hyperscaler container engines (AKS, ECS, EKS) and serverless container management. Knowledge of various aspects of an enterprise technology architecture like business, information, data, network and security Knowledge of information principles and processes Knowledge of financial models and budgeting Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps) Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Knowledge & experience in producing design using UML and ArchiMate, iServer Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls Experience in implementing APIs and Microservices Excellent understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with developers in an in-and-out outsourced environment Knowledge in cloud computing Azure, AWS, GCP. Azure Certification is advantageous Experience in the solution design & delivery of products on cloud native technologies.
