Johannesburg: Fleet Manager – Logistics Industry posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolves client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Fleet Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Drivers timesheets: collect at the end of the shift, analyze loads and standing time
• Update faults on board in the workshop daily
• Truck decal and cleanliness inspection
• Monitor Drivers
  • Monitor driver PDP
  • Query poor performance from drivers
  • Load performances to be recorded on a spreadsheet.
• Liaise with the workshop regarding the status of trucks
• Monthly reports
• Employing new drivers
• Do inspections on trucks after work has been done.
• Test trucks after maintenance has been done
• Dispatch loads to clients -+ around 200 loads per day,
• Schedule trucks with workshop and dispatch for maintenance

Requirements:

• Code 14 driver’s license
• Experience in driving trucks
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Must have experience in fixing trucks or at least looking at truck maintenance
• Fleet management
• Working hours will be from 06:30 am to 17:00 pm or until the last truck has come home
