Hire Resolve’s client, a leading mining company, is currently seeking a skilled General Manager to join their team in Modderfontein, Gauteng.
Requirements
– Bachelor of Science Degree
– Business Management Qualification (advantageous)
– Min 10 years Management experience.
– 5-8 years experience in a similar position within mining industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Determine and allocate resources accordingly.
– Communicate the business objectives to the team, and closely monitor
performance against these objectives.
– Take accountability for continuous improvement of the region.
– Consolidate reporting requirements for the region.
– Ensure that the invoicing is processed timeously.
– Manage budgets and improve revenue within the region.
– Monitor the work area to ensure that a safe environment is maintained, and all
safety rules are followed.
– Manage the regions financial performance to assure that a quality product is
provided at the least possible cost.
– Exercise judgment based on data and logic within set parameters and guidelines.
– Anticipate a broad range of problems and develop solutions.
– Implement a BBBEE strategy to meet company targets.
