Johannesburg: Head Of Finance posted by Hire Resolve

A leading Open Cast mine is looking for a Head of Finance for their Corporate Offices based in Johannesburg. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the Finance and Payroll departments, this will include leading the financial planning and analysis, and budgeting requirements for the group of companies

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operational tasks (including treasury, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, financing arrangements and payroll)
• Lead the financial planning processes for the group
• Assist with 3 year business plans for the company and analysing any budget deviations
• Prepare monthly presentations and financial reports to the Financial Director
• Preparing Consolidations across the Group
• Leading the preparations for Annual Financial Statements
• Update Cashflow requirements on a weekly basis
• Analysis and validation of all projects and overhead costs
• Project Manage and lead the upgrade of the ERP implementation
• Review VAT submissions
• Preparations of Tax computations

Requirements:

• Registered CA(SA)
• Sage or similar ERP system experience 
• Contract Mining experience would be advantageous
• Africa Experience is advantageous
• 5-10 years operational experience is essential
• 5-10 years people management experience
