About the Role
The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for shaping the backbone of enterprise technology in a complex, high-performance environment. They will lead infrastructure strategy and delivery across multiple platforms and data centres, ensuring alignment with business objectives, service levels, and long-term IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement infrastructure strategy, standards, and roadmaps
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure solution design from POC to implementation
- Drive scalable, high-performance infrastructure across multiple data centres
- Oversee capacity planning, monitoring, and performance optimisation
- Guide technology selection, refresh cycles, and investment planning
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and business objectives
- Support cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure strategies
Requirements
- 6–8 years in a senior infrastructure or technical architecture role
- Proven experience designing and managing complex, enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Strong cross-domain expertise across servers, networks, storage, and databases
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure automation, orchestration, and configuration tools
- Experience with virtualisation, SAN, Wintel and Unix environments
- Solid understanding of LAN, WAN, WiFi, and VoIP network design
- Exposure to SQL and Oracle database technologies
- Knowledge of authentication technologies including SSO and federation
- Familiarity with SDLC, security, and risk mitigation frameworks
