Johannesburg: Intermediate DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application delivery Implement automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation Support and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) Improve system reliability, performance, and security Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms to ensure system health Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis Participate in on-call rotations and operational support Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices Job Experience and Key Requirements: 35 years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep) Familiarity with config management (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/AKS/EKS) Strong understanding of Linux environments and networking fundamentals Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK) Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
