Job Summary
The successful candidates day-to-day will be building audiences in SL for the Marketing team to target with communications and setting up the automations in our software. The candidate will also spend their day-to- day analysing the effectiveness of the automations running, testing the elements are all in working order and look for ways to improve processes and performance. Performance and effectiveness would require the building of PowerBI reports, conducting analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop effective and efficient automations for segment journeys. Identify potential process improvements and areas within the business for the BI team to get involved. Preparing reports and presentations and deriving business insights Ad hoc analysis (scenario modelling, impact analysis etc) Develop, test, and implement data driven (SL) reports. Analyse customer behaviour, market trends and demographics. Conducting research on consumer and market trends, target demographics, and competing brands. Monitoring customer bases and identifying new ones as well as analyse funnels and customer intent. Working with the marketing team to inform and develop marketing strategies. Monitoring the efficacy of marketing trends through analytical tools and software.
Requirements:
Any Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) certification. Bachelors degree advantageous. 3+ years working experience with SL Server databases and Transact-SL. Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.). Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in building report models with visualisation tools (Power-BI advantageous) Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. Analytics experience advantageous.
Salary:
R35 000 R50 000 p/m with benefits.
