Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently hiring for the position of Junior Construction Manager in Johannesburg. As a Junior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects in the Commercial & Retail sector of the oil industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing construction projects
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Supervise and mentor construction workers
- Ensure quality control and resolve any issues or conflicts on site
- Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 0-1 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials
- knowledge in project management software and tools (entry level)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Valid driver’s license
