About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Legal Officer (Commercial & Contracts) to join our fast-growing organization. As a key enabler for our commercial and operational teams, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements, providing day-to-day legal support, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements (SLAs, NDAs, Supplier & Partner contracts)
- Provide day-to-day legal support to Finance and Ops teams, translating complex legal risks into actionable business advice
- Ensure alignment with the Companies Act, CPA, and POPIA
- Maintain and improve contract templates and internal governance policies
Requirements
- Completed LLB degree (Essential)
- Experience: 23 years in commercial law or in-house legal support
- Strong drafting skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
