About the Role
A leading industrial solutions company is seeking a motivated and technically minded Junior Technical Sales Representative to join their Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be recently qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Trade-Tested Electrician, with a strong technical aptitude and eagerness to develop a successful career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and product advice to customers
- Assist the senior sales team with quotations, proposals, and client visits
- Build product knowledge and learn to identify customer needs and solutions
- Support day-to-day internal sales operations and client communication
- Develop an understanding of pricing, margins, and customer management
- Grow into a full sales representative role over time with mentorship and training
Requirements
- N6 / National Diploma / BTech / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Trade-Tested Electrician
- 02 years working experience (graduates or entry-level candidates welcome)
- Strong technical understanding with an interest in industrial or electrical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Must reside in or near Germiston, Alberton, or Vaal
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport
