About the Role
A well-established clothing factory in Montague Gardens is seeking a Temporary Quality Control (QC) Checker to support production and finishing operations. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a clothing factory environment and a strong understanding of garment quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough quality inspections on finished garments
- Checking garments for defects such as stitching faults, fabric flaws, sizing discrepancies, and finishing errors
- Ensuring garments meet company quality standards and production specifications
- Measuring garments accurately according to size charts and specifications
- Reporting defects to supervisors and production teams timeously
- Monitoring production quality at various stages of the manufacturing process
- Ensuring correct labeling, tagging, and packaging standards are followed
- Maintaining accurate QC records and documentation
- Supporting factory floor operations where required
- Adhering to factory safety procedures and quality protocols
Requirements
Proven experience as a QC Checker within a clothing factory (non-negotiable)
Strong knowledge of garment construction and quality standards
Ability to identify stitching, fabric, and finishing defects
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
