About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mason to join our team on an international refractory maintenance project in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of various industrial equipment, including Refractory Annular Coolers (AC), Rotary Kilns (RK), Travelling Grates (TG), and Cylones.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of refractory equipment on-site
- Lead a team of masons to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
- Conduct site assessments to identify potential issues and develop corrective plans
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in refractory maintenance, preferably on similar projects
- Proven expertise in working with Refractory Annular Coolers (AC), Rotary Kilns (RK), Travelling Grates (TG), and Cylones
- Strong knowledge of industrial processes and equipment
- Clear Criminal Record and Medically Fit
