Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the region and is looking for a strong leader who can oversee the maintenance operations and ensure the smooth running of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the maintenance department and ensure all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Engage with internal stakeholders regarding data analytics and monitoring systems to track performance of Solar PV and BESS installations.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to optimize production uptime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
• Manage budgets and costs associated with maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Fleet Management, or a related field. Advanced technical certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Knowledge of Solar PV and BESS technologies and maintenance requirements is advantageous.
• Proven experience in leading and managing maintenance teams and operations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the renewable energy industry.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Analytical skills for performance optimization and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for maintenance management.
