Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
- Support financial reporting, data analysis, and business insights generation
- Assist with risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance processes
- Provide financial modelling support and contribute to business case development
Requirements
- Education: NQF Level 7 Finance Degree (Honours advantageous)
- Articles advantageous
- Experience: 4–6 years’ experience as an Accountant within the insurance or financial services sector, with 1–2 years in a Senior Accountant role
- Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, Income Tax Act, and VAT Act
