Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outcomes for Operations with a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and clear ownership.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, and handoffs before execution begins.
- Raise risks early, propose practical next steps, and keep delivery predictable for the wider team.
- Improve execution through documentation, checklists, and simple processes that reduce recurring issues.
- Maintain clean updates or artifacts needed for accountability, tracking, and planning.
Requirements
- Experience & Senior Operations Background:
- 6+ years of experience in Operations Management, Business Operations, or a senior delivery-focused leadership role.
- Proven track record of overseeing operational execution across multiple teams, functions, or business units.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments where reliability, accountability, and process discipline are essential.
Strategic Support to Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted second-in-command to senior leadership (e.g., COO or Head of Operations).
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills when managing priorities, trade-offs, and operational risks.
- Ability to drive alignment across leadership, stakeholders, and execution teams.
Operational Execution & Delivery Ownership
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage operational delivery end-to-end.
- Experience coordinating handoffs, requirements, and workflows before execution begins.
- Ability to identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and keep delivery predictable.
Process, Reporting & Systems Management
- Experience improving operational performance through documentation, checklists, and scalable process design.
- Strong reporting and operational tracking capability (KPIs, delivery metrics, execution dashboards).
- Comfort managing business systems, tools, and operational infrastructure to reduce recurring issues.
Automotive & Integration Exposure (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of automotive operational processes (dealer/OEM workflows, aftersales, fleet, partner ecosystems).
- Exposure to technical integrations or systems coordination across operational functions.
People & Team Leadership
- Proven experience managing operational teams and acting as the point of accountability for an Operational Management group.
- Strong communication skills to lead with empathy, clarity, and consistency.
- Ability to maintain standards, coach team members, and ensure execution quality across the business.
Communication & Professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across internal teams and senior stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, with strong documentation habits and follow-through.
- Consistent professionalism and reliability in day-to-day execution.
