About the Role
Join Tsogo Sun Digitals Operations team as an Operations Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of our online betting platform. In this critical role, you will act as a vital link between our operations, customer support, and technology teams to ensure the platform runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily platform operations, including player account activity, deposits and withdrawals, and bonus or promotional mechanics.
- Resolve operational issues in real time and ensure efficient process execution.
- Design and enhance the end-to-end customer journey for payment providers (including USSD).
- Minimize operational disruptions and ensure system stability.
- Monitor payment flows and investigate failed or delayed transactions.
- Assist with reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer queries, resolving account issues, payment queries, and game-related discrepancies.
- Monitor platform and game performance, escalating technical issues to IT and third-party providers.
- Assist with testing new games, platform updates, enhancements, and payment integrations to ensure minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, tracking key metrics such as transaction volumes, withdrawal turnaround times, and operational incidents.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes, identifying automation opportunities and assisting with developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver smooth daily platform operations with minimal disruption.
Requirements
- Matric
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Strong numeracy
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Online Payments, Operations or a related field
- 25 years experience in online gaming, fintech, payments or digital platforms
- Experience in operations or customer support environments
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
