Johannesburg: Project Manager (Finance and Operations)

Were looking for a skilled Project Manager (Full finance function as well as operations) to lead the implementation and optimisation of key business systems across finance, operations, and production. This role is ideal for a solutions-driven individual with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project management for system implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. Deploy and optimise systems related to job costing, inventory management, warehousing, ERP, payroll, and timekeeping. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Production, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales) to identify needs and ensure smooth adoption. Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely system delivery. Analyse current workflows, recommend process improvements, and enhance operational efficiency and traceability. Develop training materials and facilitate user training for seamless system transitions. Design and implement Power BI dashboards and analytical reports to drive data-based decision-making. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality, safety, and governance requirements. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance or Business Administration. CIMA qualification advantageous. Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing/ mining environment (preferably a plant). Proven experience implementing ERP and warehouse management systems. Strong understanding of production costing, materials flow, and data integration tools (Power BI, SQL).
