About the Role

A dynamic past-paced Engineering company is seeking an experienced Production Manager with relevant pump knowledge to oversee the production of their products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest production standards are maintained at the lowest cost, while also providing technical assistance during planning and assembly phases.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organise, coordinate and control production to meet project delivery dates
Fulfil the requirements of the Quality Policy and Assurance Procedure Manuals
Provide technical assistance during drawing office functions, as well as on-site
Implement measures to ensure workshops are properly managed and controlled for high quality standards
Allocate, utilise and direct Production resources correctly towards providing quality products that meet contract requirements

Requirements

5-10 years in a production environment overseeing the production facility from a design, planning and operating perspective
Good general knowledge of pump applications, pump fundamentals, pumps operations and pump components
High acumen for engineering concepts and mechanical engineering
Product and material knowledge, metallurgy experience an advantage
Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings would be an advantage

Qualifications

Salary & Benefits

Basic salary + car allowance R10,000.00
