About the Role
The Regional Leasing Manager drives occupancy and revenue across the Gauteng property portfolio by sourcing, negotiating, and closing leases. The role involves building strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and industry professionals while upholding the organisation’s values.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise occupancy and reduce vacancies across the property portfolio while meeting budget targets.
- Develop and execute leasing and marketing strategies to attract and secure new tenants.
- Negotiate and conclude lease agreements, improving lease term and tenant quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants, and key property professionals.
- Conduct market research, monitor competitor activity, and analyse market trends.
- Oversee leasing administration, including documentation, compliance, inspections, and reporting using the MDA property management system.
- Support budgeting, forecasts, and financial performance tracking.
- Streamline processes and systems to improve efficiency.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Strong leasing and negotiation skills to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking with brokers, tenants, and key property professionals.
- Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies across digital, print, and on-site channels.
- Solid knowledge of market rentals, competitors, trends, and area dynamics.
- Accurate administration of FICA, documentation, lease processes, inspections, and MDA updates.
- Target-driven, proactive, and comfortable working mainly on the road.
- Understanding of budgeting, vacancy forecasts, and performance monitoring.
- Effective communication and reporting to senior management and internal teams.
