About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of industrial and mining services across Africa, is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee operations in the Copperbelt region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing regional operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage regional operations in the Copperbelt region of DRC
Ensure site HSE compliance and implement effective risk management strategies
Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining houses, government bodies, and unions
Mobilise workforce effectively to achieve operational targets
Oversee contractor management and stakeholder relations

Requirements

Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline
Post-graduate qualification advantageous
Minimum 10–15 years in mining/industrial operations
5 years in senior management roles in Central Africa (DRC/Copperbelt preferred)
Strong track record in workforce mobilisation and site HSE compliance
