About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our corporate sales team in Johannesburg, driving business growth and delivering exceptional results. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a high-performance culture, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a corporate sales team to achieve annual sales and profit targets
- Foster a motivating team environment, supporting growth and ongoing professional development
- Meet and exceed personal and team new business turnover targets
- Manage CRM-driven sales pipelines (300% of monthly budget) and work-in-progress (500%)
- Drive deal closures while ensuring high-quality credit submissions and sales activity cadence (minimum 20 meetings per month)
- Streamline administrative and process bottlenecks to boost sales efficiency
- Support conversion by improving lead qualification and pipeline prioritisation
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales/business development (asset finance or corporate sales preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience meeting and exceeding annual sales targets
- CRM proficiency and sales reporting experience
Qualifications
- BCom in Business, Finance, Marketing, or similar
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous
