About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and organized Rental Administrator to join their real estate team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing rental properties, processing rental applications, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and providing excellent customer service to tenants and landlords.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process rental applications and conduct background checks on potential tenants
  • Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are properly completed
  • Collect rental payments from tenants and follow up on late payments
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for rental properties as needed
  • Address tenant complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct property inspections and enforce lease terms
  • Assist with marketing rental properties and showing units to prospective tenants
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date rental records and files
  • Communicate regularly with landlords and provide updates on rental properties
  • Ensure compliance with all rental regulations and laws

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in any business-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an Administrative position
  • Experience in Residential Rental Administration
  • Must be willing to work on weekends
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Knowledge of rental regulations and laws in South Africa
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
