Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks on potential tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are properly completed
- Collect rental payments from tenants and follow up on late payments
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for rental properties as needed
- Address tenant complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct property inspections and enforce lease terms
- Assist with marketing rental properties and showing units to prospective tenants
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date rental records and files
- Communicate regularly with landlords and provide updates on rental properties
- Ensure compliance with all rental regulations and laws
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in any business-related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an Administrative position
- Experience in Residential Rental Administration
- Must be willing to work on weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Knowledge of rental regulations and laws in South Africa
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
