About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Key Account Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving account growth, managing retail partners, and executing commercial strategies to enhance brand performance and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute key account management plans to drive account growth
  • Manage existing relationships with retail stores or buyers to foster strong partnerships
  • Analyze sales data, forecasts, and reports to inform commercial decisions
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with retail partners to achieve business objectives
  • Present commercial strategies and results to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of plans

Requirements

  • 35 years experience in Retail Sales, Key Account Management, or a similar role
  • Industry experience, particularly within consumer electronics, ICT, or a related retail-driven environment
  • Proven ability to grow accounts and manage retail partners effectively
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with sales data, forecasts, and reports
