About the Role
FROGG Recruitment is seeking a Risk & Governance Legal Counsel to join our Financial Services Client in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide legal support across corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management, ensuring the business operates within applicable laws, internal policies, and governance frameworks.

Requirements
- LLB;
- Admitted attorney (or admission eligible) preferred;
- 3 years post-qualification experience (in-house or law firm);
- Solid understanding of corporate governance and SA regulatory environment;
- Strong drafting, analytical and stakeholder management skills;
- Exposure to King IV, POPIA, financial services regulation, or listed company governance – advantages;
- Experience working with board/committee structures.
