Job Description:
An exciting client is looking for a skilled Senior Systems Developer in Johannesburg.

Required Skills
• Solid C development experience
• Interest to work with older technologies that require low-level coding skills
• Solid understanding of number systems (binary, hexadecimal, decimal) and data manipulation (bitwise operations, etc.)
• Good code analysis skills
• Ability to work independently

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain C++ applications on Ubuntu Linux
• Design, develop and maintain Rust applications on Ubuntu Linux
• Maintain Java applications on Ubuntu Linux (depending on candidate’s skill set)
• MySQL database management and maintenance
• Redeveloping existing systems using newer technologies
• Stand-by for Client production environments will be required (after initial probation / settling in period)
