Duties:
- Create CAD Drawings: Develop 2D/3D designs for sheet metal cutting, laser, or CNC machines.
- Program Machines: Use SigmaNEST to generate cutting programs for various machines (laser, plasma, waterjet, etc.).
- Optimize Nesting: Maximize material usage by arranging parts efficiently in the nesting software.
- Quality Control: Ensure cuts match specifications and perform checks for accuracy.
- Collaborate: Work with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing needs.
- Troubleshoot: Solve problems with designs or machine operations to keep production on track.
