Employer Description An established law firm located in Johannesburg North. Job Description Our client is seeking to employ either a Candidate Attorney who is about to be admitted (board exams completed and preferably with an admission date in hand), or a first- or second-year Associate who is already an Admitted Attorney and has had exposure to IP Law, specifically trade marks. Candidates who have attempted and passed the SAIIPL Group 1 exams will be at an advantage. General trade mark attorney duties will apply, and the successful candidate will report to the two Partners in the firms IP department. Qualifications LLB Degree Admitted as an Attorney in the High Court of South Africa or Candidate Attorney who is about to be admitted (board exams completed and preferably with an admission date in hand) Skills The successful candidate will have: Previous intellectual property experience (non-negotiable). If you have attempted and passed your SAIIPL group 1 exams, this would be a plus.
