About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at Ad Talent Africa, a dynamic and innovative digital marketing agency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive growth for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective social media strategy that aligns with our client’s brand goals and objectives, including creating a content calendar for client approval.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging and visually appealing content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, tailored to each platform.
- Manage and maintain all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Manage and ensure all content published across all digital channels is consistent.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our audience to foster a sense of community.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand visibility and drive traffic to our website.
- Run monthly advertising on various social media platforms.
- Analyse key social media metrics, track performance, and provide monthly reports to measure the success of campaigns and strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve online presence.
- Collaborate with the internal team and client to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- Qualification in marketing, communications, or related field.
