About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based architectures that meet the organisation’s requirements in terms of security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints that outline the structure and behaviour of technology solutions
- Analyse business requirements and design technology solutions that are fit-for-purpose
- Design and create scalable, secure, and reliable solution blueprints, models, and technical specifications that meet business requirements and align with the company’s technology strategy
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of solutions
- Monitor and analyse the performance of implemented solutions
- Provide expertise and direction to development, testing, and operations teams
Requirements
- Matric plus NQF Level 7 Qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6-8 years experience in solution design or architecture
- Proven experience in delivering end-to-end technology solutions
- Exposure to system integration, data modelling, and application design
- Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, including public, private, and hybrid clouds, as well as various cloud services and technologies
