About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based architectures that meet the organisation’s requirements in terms of security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain architectural blueprints that outline the structure and behaviour of technology solutions
Analyse business requirements and design technology solutions that are fit-for-purpose
Design and create scalable, secure, and reliable solution blueprints, models, and technical specifications that meet business requirements and align with the company’s technology strategy
Oversee the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of solutions
Monitor and analyse the performance of implemented solutions
Provide expertise and direction to development, testing, and operations teams

Requirements

Matric plus NQF Level 7 Qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
6-8 years experience in solution design or architecture
Proven experience in delivering end-to-end technology solutions
Exposure to system integration, data modelling, and application design
Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, including public, private, and hybrid clouds, as well as various cloud services and technologies
